New to Scrivener

Hello guys. I just bought the new Scrivener 1.9.7 and i have some questions.
First of all i am interesting to write comic strips, what i want to do (if its possible) is

  1. when i finish my project i want to export in format which will be a table with Panel number, Panel Description and Dialogues. is it possible to do something like that ?
  2. Is it possible to have a character’s database/libraries ? and of course different other databases/libraries like Places,Items etc.

Thank you so much.

Have you done the tutorial?

What tutorial ? where can i find it ? and i am not sure if there will be something for this,

P.S. Actually i want to export only the dialogues of the whole script.

The tutorial you find in the opening window called Interactive tutorial.

I have seen it but i didn’t find something useful. One thing that i thought is to create a table with 3 columns and each column has the 3 fields.

The tutorial will show you how Scrivener is supposed to work, in general. You need to understand the basic design philosophy of Scrivener to really see how it can be used. Scrivener is not a wysiwyg editor and it is not very good at handling tables. It is designed for handling text, large and complicated texts with different kinds of research material to help in the writing.

I understood but is it possible to do what i want ? For example Celtx can does it but not with Greek. It can’t export it in Greek. Is there a formula to export only Dialogues ?

Do the Tutorial, and then you will se if you can do what you want. Scrivener doesn’t know what is dialogue and what is not so you have to organize your text in a way that Scrivener can understand.
Do the tutorial.
