Newbie facing problem with compiled files

Hi everyone,

I just compiled and exported my novel to both .mobi and .epub.

Both files contain 2 pages with nothing else other than “Chapter 1” and “chapter 2” on them. These pages are in the middle of the novel, each before a chapter - so I figuered it has something to do with the exporting preferences. But I set the preferences to “text only”. I changed the preferences several times, but it didn’t work, These 2 pages won’t dissapear.

Any ideas?

Have you checked to make sure there are no files in the Draft that have this text in them? Don’t forget to check folders as well, since they can hold text too.

One request for clarification, what does this mean, in terms of software features? Which checkboxes within which compile option panes are you using?
