I’m not sure whether this question belongs in the iOS section or Mac section because I’m trying to work with both.
I’ve created a Style on my Mac Scrivener, and I’m trying to export it so that I can use the Style on my iOS app. (I’ve changed the color to try to replicate Revisions mode, since I’ve still not found a way to have Revisions mode on iOS, and another forum suggested creating a Style).
All the documentation I’ve found has said to go to Format>Formatting>Export Presets for iOS. But there IS NO “Export Presets for iOS” that I can find. I can import. I can put the Style I’ve created from one Mac Scrivener file to another, but so far I have found no way of getting this Style onto my iOS app.
Any ideas how to export the Style preset now that there is no longer that option under that dropdown? Or how to do revision mode in iOS without styles? Help!
Your styles come over to iOS automatically in your Scrivener 3+ project—no exporting needed. To apply one,
- Select the text you want to style
- tap the Paintbrush icon ,
- Make sure that Style is selected at the top of the popover box
- Scroll down in the box to the style you want and tap it.
For revision use, place your cursor where you want to start typing, follow the above steps starting with the Paintbrush, then start typing. Note that this is not an ideal solution; every time you want to revise in a new place in your project you have to select the style again. It’s unlikely that the Mac will recognise the text from iOS as revised. However, you can select all text of that style and mark it Revised.
That’s as close as I’ve been able to come to Revision mode on iOS.

It’s not there 
I’ve synced everything and tried several times. But the only Style options are the default ones.
Hi! The list of styles is much longer, even for the built-in styles. You need to swipe up on the list to reveal the character styles. I’m attaching a screenshot for clarity. Does this work?
Mine isn’t much longer, even with scrolling. I’ve attached another screenshot, where you can see “TITLE” was the last one on the previous screenshot, but is the first one on this second screenshot. Still none of my saved Styles, even after scrolling through to the bottom.
At this point I have to suggest that you contact Tech Support directly, as your styles should definitely be syncing.
