Notifications

Scrivener Scrivener for macOS

I’m running OSX 10.6.8/Snow Leopard, and have noticed that I can’t enable notifications (project > show project targets > options). I have Growl, and use it for Evernote, but in Scrivener the option is always greyed out. I’ve tried looking up notifications in the help screen, but can’t find any info.

The option for ‘show notifications’ IS selectable when an individual page is open and the target is selected, but no notification actually comes up.

Is there some setting that I’ve just overlooked?

I’m still hoping someone can give me some advice with this. It’s a great feature, and I’d really love to be able to use it :frowning:

If it’s disabled, it means that Scrivener thinks Growl isn’t running. Growl itself is responsible for telling Scrivener whether it is available or not, sot his means that your installation of Growl is not telling Scrivener it is available. I would try reinstalling Growl.
