For a moment of levity, one of them could slip and address someone as “Sarg” instead of the customary last name used with equals and subordinate ranked soldiers. Then the rest could tease him about his slip-up for a bit. “Sarg, where’s my shaving cream?” “How should I know… Sarge?” “Screw you.” “Hey, Sarge, Sarge here’s looking for his shaving cream!” “Don’t look at me, Sarge, this luxurious beard ain’t seen a razor for a spell.” “Ya’ll are a-holes.” ---
