Notational Velocity is great - a fast, fully keyboard-driven note taking app with reference links and searching that’s used by a number of writers I know.

It’s also mac only and I’ve not found anything quite like it for other platforms (although nvpy gets close).

So to scratch that itch, I’ve been implementing it as a plugin for vim/gvim; It’s now got enough of the core features (for me) that I’ve declared v1 gold. I’ve uploaded it onto github [http://cwoac.github.io/nvim](http://cwoac.github.io/nvim) for anyone who wants it.

The website is still a little rough around the edges, but I’ve been fairly careful with documenting it in the readme file.

This is great! I look forward to seeing it develop. Keep us posted.
