One of my open projects won't let me switch to other tabs

I have three projects open on my laptop (usual). One of these (‘project X’) , more recently created, does not allow me to switch over to another project except via the Windows menu– i can not click on the visible part of the other project to go there. i can do that as always with the other two. Even worse, project X refuses to go in the background if i click on my browser (Firefox) from the dock– i have to minimise project X with the yellow button. This is a real nuisance when i’m researching online and want easily to switch from project to browser back n forth as i can do with all other projects in my experience. Is there somewhere a setting for just this project that i have to change? Thanks.

EDIT actually it also wont let me switch from a Reference Window back to it.

This, perhaps ?

I run the Windows version. But maybe it is the same for a Mac. Worth the post.

Float Window and Float QRP are checked

Also, i can’t make the Quick Ref Panel “float” when used in this project

You want the opposite.
If you float a window, it will always stay on top of the others without this setting. Like your browser, for example, it’ll always stay hidden behind.

So, just make sure that your problematic project doesn’t have this setting checked, and you should be fine.
