When I’m working in Word, I can see the word count from the beginning up to the cursor position, as well as the total for the doc. I suspect there must be a way to do this in Scrivener, but if so I haven’t located it yet. Any tips?
Shift-Cmd-UpArrow. When you’re done, just right-arrow to return to where you were.
I am using Windows, so it may not apply, but if you go to outline mode, and highlight all of the sections whose word count you want to know, and then right click, at the bottom of that menu is a list of the total word count for the highlighted pages. I want to know my total word count at the end of each day of working (for NaNoWriMo tracking purposes).
