When I add a link into a Scapple note and export the note I can open the link.
However, I can’t open the link within the Scapple app.
How can I open links in notes from within Scapple?

I’m not experiencing that problem here, on my Mac. I do sometimes have to make an extra click to activate the link. However, it does seem to work right from the Scapple work space, within the app.
Oh I see! It has to be in edit mode and then it’s clickable.
It’s a shame there isn’t a modifier key you can hold (such as Cmd) to open the link.
Thanks for your help!
Glad to be of help. I’ve had Scrivener for years, but only really got back to it after struggling so hard to produce a work using Google Docs…and, the hair-pulling task of keeping everything all straight and in one location. I decided it was time to get serious with Scrivener…thus, I’m fairly new here, also. Glad I could be of help, and thank you for bringing up a subject that is very important to what I’m working on now…the external linking.
Related: I am unable to add a hyperlink to a word in a scapple note that will then open another scapple file that I am linking. I get the “There is not application set to open the URL…” error message but when I try to “Choose Application” my mac has the Scapple app grayed out and I can’t chose it. Any thoughts?
what good information, thanks
