I am using Linux on my netbook and Windows on my laptop. Is it possible to open the Scrivener Linux file in Windows? I just tried it and it opens the project and I can see all the folders in the binder and I can see the cards on cork board but there is nothing in any of them. I must be doing something wrong.
I switch between projects in Windows (with WINE) and LInux often. One thing to look out for is that sometimes there will be “phantom” items in a zipped project file that need to be removed before you open the project. They’ll look like real things, but will have a size of 0.
Although this sounds like an issue with Dropbox…if you’re using Dropbox you need to follow a few other steps (like not trying to open the same project in two different locations), otherwise things can disappear.
