I work with both editors open. Whatever I want to open always opens in the wrong editor. I did check the settings.
Which settings?
The setting at Navigate | Binder Selection Affects should be set to “Current Editor.” If you’d prefer to open a document in the editor your cursor is NOT in, click on “Other Editor.”
That’s the only setting that should be affecting which editor is opened when you click in the binder.
