So I’ve used it for a few days, Friday is my project DEADLINE, and every time I go to start Scrivener nothing happens.
Finally uninstalled it (no repair???) and reinstalled. Now it starts, but as soon as I want to open my project it crashes.
WHY?
Normally this is because of a bad project file or a bad file in the project file.
The most common solution is to restore from a backup as explained in the manual.
This assumes that you told Scrivener to open a project when it opened. If not, if it only asks what to open, it is possible that you had another monitor which isn’t on, like a laptop connected to a 2nd monitor and it is trying to open on that other screen? Also, have you tried right clicking and selecting open? Finally, reboot and try again.
