I would find it very useful if it was possible to option drag folders and documents in Scrivener’s binder in order to copy them from one place to another, much as one is used to being able to do in the Finder. Would this be difficult to implement? I can’t think of any downsides to the feature.

Option-drag already has a different meaning - it disables drop-ons for greater accuracy if you don’t want to create text groups. You can instead hit cmd-D to duplicate the selected item and then drag the duplicate to the new location though.

Thanks Keith, I didn’t know about the current option-drag refinement. For my money the copy drag is the more useful function (and already hard-wired into Mac users), but it’s your app and I respect the care you take with it. (Besides, Cornwall is too close to Somerset for me to want to risk offences of etiquette.)
