Do you know outline 4D? The timeline view and track list tool are fantastic to keep track of any keywords or sets of keywords you wish. Very flexible. No templates or such things. I’m aware that this wouldn’t be a short term development. But maybe for the 2.0 release… hopefully I think it would propel scrivener for windows to the top of novel writing programs.
Actually I am using online 4D more than scrivener presently because with a big project you need a tool to keep track of things with just one glance. But I also miss lots of scrivener functions… (including the L&L community) Too sad.

If you use it more than Scrivener, then you should definitely stick with it for that part of the project. Hopefully you’ll be able to bring the outline into Scrivener once you’re ready for the next phase of writing.
