Padding and Page Break Before

I have Page Padding set at 12 lines so that chapters start lower down the page. I think I have to rethink this, because sometimes I have a document that I want to start on its own page, but it’s not a new Chapter. If I use the Page Break Before code for that document, it gets 12 lines on initial padding.

I’m thinking I really have to use the Title Prefix functionality for my Level One documents, and place 12 carriage returns there, and forget the padding. Before I go and change this, please comment on whether my thinking is correct, or if there’s a better way to to what I want.

Still very new to Scrivener and loving it.

Never mind. I see I was confused. In Compile, the Padding setting is per level. I thought is was for the entire Draft. I can easily use that to do what I want, placing Padding only on all Level Ones.
