I have been searching in vain for a way to cite a page reference “See page n.” where n is the page on which a piece of text (presumably marked by some placeholder tag) occurs. In Word, I would create a bookmark, and then insert a cross-reference to that, but I cannot see how to do this in Scrivener. I find it hard to believe there is no way to do this. I have successfully cross referenced chapter and figure numbers, but page numbers have eluded me.
We haven’t yet built the tools for putting hard cross-references in place, but they are planned for. For now you should do your best to mark these down as text strings you can search for later in Word and add the necessary cross-references. A possibility is to use inline annotations to mark down a unique number (time and date is a good source for that) in both the link and anchor locations. I find it easiest to use that number at the anchor, and have all links pointing to it use that same number, prefixed by a different symbol, like “>”.
