Page View Question on Scrivener 3 for Windows?

In Scrivener 3 for Windows, I’m trying to utilize the page view which is located under: View/Text Editing/ and then click Page View.
The problem is I can create pages or utilize the Page View under Novel Format and Scenes. But under Manuscript and Chapter this option is greyed out and I can’t get the pages to show the page breaks for view so it would kind of resemble what it would look like in a kindle book.
Please keep in mind I’m not trying to compile my work yet, just trying to make it look like it so I can tell how many pages I have, or at least an estimate while I type away. Kind of like showing the pages in Microsoft Word or Word Perfect as one types and go from one page to the next, it would actually show that you’re on a new page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

David B.
