Paragraph indent disappears when I reopen document[NOTED]

The first time I type something it appears with paragraph indents. If I close scrivener and then return later and reopen it, all the paragraph indentations are gone. But starting a new section, the new section will have paragraph indents - at least until I shut it down.

Am I the only one this is happenening to? Am I doing something wrong?
