Paragraph spacing? Comparing General settings and Document settings

This is from General settings. Font is TNR size 12:

This is from Document settings, different default formatting selected. Font is still TNR size 12.

As far as I can see, every setting is the same, but the paragraph spacing is different.

I hadn’t noticed the document settings before, and all I did was click “Use different default formatting” and it changed to this. Now I’m wondering how do I change the paragraph spacing if it’s something I want to do on purpose?

To get to more paragraph settings from the format bar, pop-open the pop-up menu that is showing your linespacing (1.0), and choose More/Other. That will get you to a dialog box with, for example, the setting for specifying space-after, etc.
