Password Protection

Is there a way to password protect a Scrivener document?
I’m working on a report that contains some confidential information and I need to protect this.
Thanks!
Rick

You can put the entire Scrivener project on an encrypted volume, and limit access to the device on which it’s stored.

But no, there’s no way to do this within Scrivener. The reason is that a Scrivener project is actually a folder, with subfolders and potentially hundreds of component files. Requiring a password to open it in Scrivener would do nothing to actually secure the file: it would still be trivially easy to access the component documents via Finder.
