Paste and Match Style

Two questions regarding “Paste and Match Style” in Edit.
Is it possible to change the keyboard shortcut?
Is it possible to make it the default cmd+V paste action instead of the retain style of origin default?

Yes, it’s possible to change it. You will need to go into System Preferences and look at keyboard. If you search on the forum I’m sure you will find precise instructions, because it is a subject that comes up periodically.

system preferences -> keyboard -> keyboard shortcuts does not expose Paste and Match Style on my system (10.8 ) under any of the categories…?

You have to add it yourself – it doesn’t appear in a list.

Application shortcuts, then click the + button.
