It occured to me that having a Path Bar (Mac) which we could option to show, or hide in Scrivener would be a really useful function. I know you can go backward or forward using the left/right arrows above the main area, but sometimes you can literally lose track, because the highlight in the Binder view is showing the original page.
I think having a Path Bar at the bottom showing the present page will help keep you on track and give you an over all perspective. The only thing is, I don’t know whether that would conflict with the word and character count at the bottom.
If you hover over the editor header bar, the file path will display in the tooltip. You can also see the path from the icon menu in the header bar, or just choose “Reveal in Binder” if you want to see it directly.
Hi Jennifer, thank you very much for that. I never knew any of those tips or tricks and I thought I was quite well versed when it came to using Scrivener. Just shows how much I know
