This might already be an implemented feature, but I couldn’t find it.
I find myself using some phrases over and over, and I’d like to avoid that. I’d like to see a list of phrases implemented in Scrivener so that I can do a mass-“go find out if I have any of these phrases in the project” so I can change them.
You can use the project search tool in the toolbar to accomplish this kind of thing for a few phrases at a time. By manipulating the settings (click the magnifying glass icon therein to see what your options are), you can create a search and then save it for future use. If you use the “regex” option in the “Operator” section, you can separate each of several phrases with a vertical bar (aka “pipe” symbol) like this:
to be|started to|other phrases
The search will match each of those phrases independently of the others.
After you’ve created the search, you can select “Save As Collection” from the search menu and have it available as a collection tab at the top of the binder to easily return to at any point. Each time you load the collection it will re-run the search.
