picture orientation problem

Hi there,
I’m new to Scrivener and I love it. I’m currently importing all my writings (mostly novels and screenplays) and I came across a little issue while adding storyboard drawings to a project.

I had scanned the original file, a landscape drawing, with the wrong orientation and later I rotated it (using Preview I think). I have added the jpg file to the Research folder and when I click it, it shows up as a portrait file. When I use Open in Editor, it shows up with the proper orientation.

Did I miss something? Is there a workaround to this (other than resaving the file)?

Thanks for your help,
Laurent

Did you change its orientation in Scrivener at all? If you double-click on an image in Scrivener, you get a translucent HUD panel that allows you to rotate it. This doesn’t rotate the underlying image, just the view of it in Scrivener. If you never rotated it in Scrivener, though, could you send me the problematic image file, to support AT literatureandlatte DOT com? I’ll take a look.
Thanks,
Keith

Hi Keith,
Thanks a lot, it did the trick.
