Hello
at least in Windows, there is no “Paste as Text” command. Please add this kind of command, so that copy / paste works without any manual post processing work.
I thought that “Paste an match style” whould remove all formattings, but it does not.
Paste and Match Style (Ctrl+Shift+V) pastes as plain-text, so any formatting that you’re seeing is what’s already present in the location you’re pasting. You could also use Documents > Convert > Formatting to Default Text Style after the fact to update all the formatting in the document to match the default formatting set in Tools > Options > Editor.
By default, Paste and Match Style uses the Ctrl+Shift+V shortcut on Windows, but it’s possible to change this in the Keyboard tab of Options, so perhaps you’ve edited that? You can reset those to defaults or just reassign the shortcut (or another shortcut) to the command there. The command is also available from the context menu in the editor.
I’m not aware of a bug with this not stripping the formatting–it just takes the plain text option from the clipboard–so I’d appreciate if you could provide steps to reproduce the problem you’re seeing.
