I can see a few possibilities where Scrivener could be repurposed.
Online Cooperation
A Wiki
A character creator for PGs
Of course you may want to use synonyms for what you’re asking Scrivener to do. For example, call the Character creator “Personae”. Though I’m all at sea aat what synonyms you could use for “wiki”.
My point is that Scrivener could be used for more than just writing projects
Certainly Scrivener can be used for more than “literature”. My approach to writing and editing posts for my website completely changed when I realised that it would make sense to do this in Scrivener. (This also meant that, for the past year, I have used Scrivener every single day, so when I came to start another long piece of writing this summer my learning curve had been completely climbed!)
However I am not really sure what you mean when you say it could be used for online cooperation and wikis. Do you mean that you and I could start Scrivener projects to house all our wiki contributions or do you mean the developers could redesign Scrivener to work as a wiki? The same goes for online cooperation. Are you meaning that the imaginative user could use Scrivener in a similar way to Evernote, to house online threads they participate in, or do you mean that the developers can alter Scrivener to make it more like Evernote?
If you mean the first option (that imaginative users should be able to find many other users for Scrivener than novel writing) then I could not agree more. I can’t imagine why it took me so long to see the obvious benefits in writing notes and posts for my site in Scrivener and then copying and pasting the final drafts into Wordpress rather than using Wordpress to write and rewrite the drafts. Doh!
Cheers
