So, my document is fine overall. I’m compiling as a Kindle Mobi right now, everything looks good, except for some reason the first “scene” of the chapter (there’s only one chapter) is linked to in the TOC.
Consequently, my TOC goes Copyright>Title Page>SCENE#>End
I really can’t figure out how to make my TOC not link to that scene. Or make it at least link to scenes 2-5 so it’s all equal, not just scene 1. Have tried to figure this out by myself for a good long while now, time to ask for help.
I’m also noticing that, after compiling, my font size changes abruptly after the first scene and stays changed for the rest of the document. Little help please?
Have you gone through the Compile settings on the left border of the Compile window ? Such as ‘formatting’ and the Level 1+ settings ?
Feedback on that will help assess the causes.
Unless I’m mistaken, ToC entries are dictated by the presence of a page break. Most compile settings are configured to create page breaks before the start of a chapter folder. You may have a stray “page break before” setting on that scene. You can see at a glance which documents have this set in the Contents pane of the compile window.
