I was working with a project, and backed it up. I later went to work on that project, and later realised I was actually working with the backup files rather than the original project. I used “Save As” to overwrite the original project so I would have it be fully updated, and could continue to use the original as I intended. The changes I had made were adding new Texts to the Draft section.
However, when I next opened the original project in Scrivener, the texts were listed in the binder with the correct names, but the texts themselves were blank, and all the words I’d saved in them were gone.
I am running Windows 7, beta 3.
Edit: Further information - if I use “Save As” and give the project a different name, then there is no problem. The new project opens fine, and nothing is missing. However, if I try to save the project over a pre-existing one, it seems like the project settings are saved, but the text files themselves are not.
