If the project replace window just could be non-modal like the keyword HUD - so one can switch to text editor, binder etc. without having to close the project replace window.
Or if it could be quickly opened by a shortcut key …
Many thanks!

I’m pretty sure the reasoning for this being modal is that it can take quite a while to run through everything in larger projects. If the dialogue box were non-modal, one could start a replace and then switch back to the project window, potentially colliding with automated changes while they type and so on.
Making this command accessible to the keyboard shortcut settings is on the list (as are all of the other menu items ).
I can’t tell you how much I am looking forward to this. I love Scrivener but am constantly (as in regularly, as in perhaps dozens of times a day, seriously) irked by what feels like inattention to keyboard operability.
