Project & Session word counts in Status bar just like Label and Status are now

I am using the Windows BETA version in which I was delighted to see that the document Label and Status are now permanently displayed (and editable) on a status bar on the bottom right (underneath Inspector).

Now, there is still plenty of space in the Status Bar and I think (my opinion, can’t speak for others) it would be nice to have the ability to also display the Project word count and Session word count as labels on the Status Bar thus making it unnecessary to pop up a Project Targets window that has then to be placed somewhere possibly obstructing other information such as notes. Maybe making the “feature” as an option in case the user is not interested in having that on the Status Bar.

In the Scrivener 3 Mac version, the Quick Search field in the toolbar shows Project and Session word counts if you hover the mouse over it. Since L&L’s stated goal is to get as much as possible from Mac S3 into Windows S3, I’m sure the Windows beta will do this soon if it doesn’t already

The Windows beta also has it but you have to hover the label on top, whereas if the information is on the Status Bar, it is always visible no matter what. Hovering requires user time and that time may take away some inspiration

True, but I personally find that if I’m checking my word count I’m already distracted from inspiration …
