There seems to be a technical issue with the options on the project statistics options. The text and project stats features are working fine, apart from the fact that I cannot get the project stats to tell me the word count excluding footnotes. If I click ‘exclude footnotes’ on the project stats options box, the word count does not update accordingly, and clicking ‘ok’ closes this dialogue box… however, this selection isn’t remembered for the next time you open. This is a problem for anyone using this (esp) for academic purposes, where you often need to be able to have both counts.
