Project Targets settings not saving when switching between Mac and Windows

I work with Scrivener on several different machines, both mac and windows (both V2), and have noticed a strange bug recently. I mostly use my mac version to compile and reset my word count for my project targets.

As any Windows user will know, the Project Targets system on the Windows version is…well, ‘buggy’ would be too charitable. It does not automatically update when a deadline is set (indeed, a deadline can’t be set at all), so I first open a project on my mac system, set the deadline and all the bells and whistles to get my daily goal set, and then do the bulk of my writing on my windows machine. This daily goal remains unchanged on my windows machine, even when I am daily exceeding that goal (which SHOULD reduce the wordcount). This is something I’ve grown to tolerate, resyncing with my mac machine once every couple of weeks to actually get my updated wordcount.

However, of late, I’ve noticed that every time I open the project in my Mac version of scrivener…I have to reset the project goal details entirely. This means reinputting the deadline and final wordcount goal and all of the ticked boxes like ‘calculate from deadline’ and whatnot. It’s never saved. This is AFAIK a new development, at least in the past year, so I’m not sure why the settings aren’t being preserved. I know I won’t ever see them in my windows version, but they’ve always been there, same as before, once I reopened a project in the mac version so I could get my daily word count goal to update.

Any idea what’s going on?
