Purchasing new MacBook

Hi

I have been asked by a friend of mine to find out if a new MacBook working on 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1GB memory, 80GB hard drive and
MAC OS X Leopard, will be able to run Scrivener, Nisus and iWork 08 simultaneously. As a person that deals with PCs I have very limited knowledge of Macs.

Thanks

Yes, should be no problem at all.

Sooner or later, your friend will probably want to put more memory in the MacBook, particularly if he works with very long documents – but I don’t think it’s urgent.

Nicka is exactly right. Aside from the RAM, that’s exactly the MacBook I have, and it could easily handle those apps at the same time. Hell, my old G5 iMac could handle them.

thanks for the help.

I thought as much as the software is no way as bloated as MS offerings, but I thought it best to check.

thanks again
