Question about a saved Layout

I was wondering if there is a way to get the cork Board layout saved as I see it after selecting some documents. For example; I select 5 documents in the Binder which show up on the cork board and then save this layout. However, when I later on want to go back to this layout view by choosing View/Layout/all layouts and then my saved layout, the cork board is empty because the documents I selected are not saved into this Layout. Is there another of saving this setting?

Hi,

No, there isn’t. The layouts just save the current view set up - whether the corkboard is open, the split panes, window size and suchlike. It doesn’t save which documents are open or selected, because layouts can be applied to any project, so there may not be five documents that can be selected on the corkboard in many situations…
