question on scrivner

I decided I wanted to write a little book on my exploits as an insurance agent. There are some very interesting stories to tell on why people buy life insurance and how people of seemingly no means have an ungoshly amount of money to do something with.

So, I want to tell their stories.

One thing I would like to do is put the dialogue in formatted as a screenplay. Is there a way I can use Scrivener to write normally and then call up the screenwriter to enter in the dialogue? Or just paste the dialogue in from copying it from the screenwriter module?

The reason I want to do it this way is I think it’s easier for me to write the dialogue using a screenwriter format than the conventional way.

Hi John:

This is very doable. There are two ways you can achieve it.

Within your document when you get to the part where you want the screen play dialogue, press CTRL-4 (I think your profile noted you’re on Windows. If it’s Mac then it’s CMD-8), and you’ll turn on screenwriting mode, Hit it again to turn screenwriting mode off. .

Alternatively you can split them into multiple documents in the binder. The text as a regular text document and the dialogue as a separate screenwriting document.
