Does or will the OPML import support any other fields than the two basic ones? Such as notes, label, status?
No, it will remain as is. The only attribute defined in the OPML spec (opml.org/spec2) is the text attribute of the element. Given that it is up to the individual user or app what other attributes they add, and given that Scrivener does not (and will not) support custom columns, it would be difficult to interpret other information. A label and status would also be difficult to interpret, as internally Scrivener uses number IDs for these things whilst representing them to the user as colours and names; it would be hard to deal with string values for these especially if they did not exactly match any existing ones.
Also, please could you keep discussion of features that are currently beta-only to the beta thread, as requested in the Beta Testing thread where you download the 1.5 beta? Thanks.
All the best,
Keith
Thank your for the reply. Sorry about posting in the wrong place.
No problem. It’s only so that users who aren’t using the beta don’t get confused about features that aren’t yet in the release version.
All the best,
Keith
