Quick-Nav Bookmarks inside a document

Hej,

while working on a complex factbook, I just wished for a bookmarking system inside a document.
That means for example:

  • Large document inside the research folder, not sensible to split that in smaller bits.
  • Very detailed main text document with many many sub-documents in Draft folder.

Now I want to switch (very!) fast between a certain paragraph inside a sub-document of the Draft folder and a certain paragraph inside the Research document. And I want to reassign the bookmarks inside the research folder quickly as I move along.
Id est, usually I would open an independent second window (maybe even in an own space) so i always get back to the original location in Draft re. research. But that second window wouldn’t be possible in Scriv, am I right? (inside a single project).

Any way to have such a quick-jump bookmark system? Or did I just miss it, since you already took care of most could-be’s?

You can already do this, using annotation markers. See Edit > Insert Bookmark Annotation, View > Text Bookmarks and the Bookmarks menu inside the header bar icon menu.

oops, thank you! it seems I sort of got overwhelmed by all the functions of Scriv
