REALLY Newbie Question

I have read through the handbook and looked at tutorials-- my question is probably so dumb they didn’t bother to address it.

When I use the ebook formatting, I cannot get my information into the cover art.

There. It’s out. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put MY NAME into the YOUR NAME and my title into MY GREAT NOVEL.

Also . . . when I do upload my book to Amazon for sale, will that be my cover art? Or is there something else I need to do?

I’m so sorry-- I’m a complete techie nightmare.

I’m no expert on e-book formatting, but I’m about 90% sure that the cover image is just a placeholder. You’ll very likely have to design your own book cover and add the graphic into Scrivener. Or pay someone to design one for you.

Yes, that cover is just a placeholder - have a read through the info document at the top of the novel template that explains about how you need to import your own cover image. But yes, as Robert says, you will need to design your cover image in an art program, import it, and select that instead of the placeholder one.
