Rearranging index cards on the cork board

Hi,

I would like to know 1) as to whether I can rearrange the index cards on the corkboard in the Windows version and if so how can I do that and 2) if it’s possible to print the whole corkboard? (I would like to make an overview of all my chapters and subchapters and their synopsis on the index cards - I think it’s brilliant! - und bring it to my supervisor)

You can arrange cards on the corkboard by drag and drop. You’ll find more info on section 12.1 The Corkboard of the manual.

Yes, you may want to read section 25.2 Printing Index Cards of the manual.

Also, going through the whole Tutorial at least once will give you a very good idea on how things get done in general, as well as ease your learning curve.

I get the impression that the OP is talking about the free-form corkboard, which hasn’t yet been implemented in the Windows version. As r6d2 says, you can move index cards around right now, but this changes their order in the binder. Free-form will allow us to move the cards without changing the order, and I can’t wait for this feature to be added to the Windows version.
