I’m running a Scrivener intro for a writers’ group I belong to, and one of the things I want to cover are the changes I made to the defaults. One of those is reducing the size of the corkboard cards.
View -> Corkboard options -> Cards across does the first bit of the job, but as I personally use the cards only for 1-line headings, I also reduced the depth of them. I can’t for the life of me remember how I did this!
I had a vague memory it was an icon on the status bar, but it doesn’t seem to be there now.
Can someone remind me?!
It’s the four-squares icon on the far right of the footer bar, which brings up a popover with various options.
Hope that helps - and thanks for covering Scriv at a writers’ group; much appreciated!
All the best,
Ah, perfect, thanks - for some reason I just decided that icon wasn’t it!
It’s rather ironic: the corkboard was the feature that most attracted me to Scrivener in the first place, and I used it extensively when I wrote my previous novel. Now I do everything in the binder and only ever use the corkboard for viewing photos in my Characters and Research folders …
