Remebering last save location

I don’t know if this is a feature that hasn’t been added, won’t be added, or isn’t working. I am a person who backs up my work often, but the tool never saves the location of my last backup folder. I think it would be great if there was an easy way to implement something, enabling us to quickly hit backup and ok, without browsing through bunches of folders each time. Thanks!

The current save setup is a Mac work flow instead of a Windows. There are plans in the works to convert it to more of a Windows based one at some point.

This is on the list to be fixed, as well as it remembering where you just opened a file from.

Hi,

Want a funny thing on this ?
Sometimes it does not remember, sometimes it does.
Is this really only Scrivener related ?
For three weeks, I always saw the “documents” folder open.
Now I most often see the folder where the first project opened that day is stored.

I made no changes to any settings (not inside Scrivener, but in other software, also working with pdf, hint, hint).
And now Scrivener opens the folder of the first project opened.

This is what I noticed these last days.
Now, while writing this post, I go back to Scrivener for one more check.
This time, every command opens to the last folder used last night, which is a documentation folder (no Scrivener files inside).

Let’s say, Scrivener could be learning to become exactly what every single user likes most…
