Please! This is the one thing I still use in MS word.
Also, when I paste from Scrivener to Gmail, my message has extra carriage returns. I have to paste into Word, then repaste into an email.
Does the following do what you want?
Documents > Convert > Convert Formatting to Default Text Style
Or, alternatively, Edit → Paste and Match Style.
