If you enjoy working in MMD, right on! However, I find that one of the delights of Scrivener styles is how I can leave fonts and font sizes out of them. I, too, like to switch up fonts to get a fresh view of my work. Since I created my (sparingly used) styles without any font info in, I’m free to switch fonts and font size whenever I like without wrecking my styles at all.
I’m not trying to convert you. And you did say “other settings”, which might mess up styles–I have no way to tell. But for future thread readers, I did want to make the point that font and font size switching can be done without affecting styles, if you’re careful about editor style design.
Oh nooooo! I don’t know why, but this is now broken when using .mobi files! I wonder if it’s an update to Kindle? I tried exporting a .mobi of the sample project just as a baseline test, and sent it to my Kindle app on my iPhone. Sure enough… not working! Any thoughts?
