Removing Bloated HTML tags in WP

Hi there,

I’ve been using Scrivener for a couple of months and I LOVE it. It’s improved my productivity a thousand-fold.

Apologies if this question has been asked before - I searched and could not find an answer.

I have noted that when I cut and paste from Scrivener into Wordpress, there are an awful lot of additional

and the like tags.

Am I doing cut and paste from Scrivener to WP wrong? Is there a way to export to WP without all the extra html tags?

Thanks

Amanda

Have you tried using the Edit/Copy Special/Copy as HTML (Basic, using <p> and <span>) menu command?

Hi there,

No I haven’t - but …

If I cut and past from Word into a WP post, it doesn’t generate any

or even tags that I seem to be getting when I cut and paste directly from Scrivener to WP.

Cut and paste from Word to WP is clean. That’s what I’m looking for cleaner html code…

Will your suggestion remove all the

type tags?

Thanks,

Amanda

Have you tried MMD?
