Removing space between paragraphs

Hi
I’m new to Scrivener and have tried to work through this but need some help.
I have created a draft of 75 chapters but, when writing them, have manually (by hitting enter twice) created a clear line for each new paragraph.
Now I come to export it I find I don’t want these lines.
I can’t get rid of them in Word or Final Draft - the paragraph spacing elements already read as zero, top and bottom - and was wondering if there’s a way of removing them (ie closing up the paragraph spaces) in Scrivener prior to export?
Many thanks and apologies if this has been dealt with elsewhere.
Jevon

Hi,

There’s no way of removing them in Compile, no. The best way is to use Find and Replace (or Project Replace) to replace all double newlines with a single newline (hold down the Option key to enter a return character into the Find panels).

If you want space between paragraphs because you prefer it visually, you can then just use inter-paragraph spacing.

All the best,
Keith

Thanks, Keith. That has worked a treat.
