I kind of feel bad about just submitting terse reports about the bugs, so I wanted to say this:
I think all you guys are awesome. Truly. I already love this program to bits. The work you all put into this project is phenomenal, as are the responses you’re giving users. I’m sure it must get repetitive when four different users report on the same bug, but you’ve all handled the deluge with gratifying promptness and grace.
I can’t wait for Scrivener to come out in it’s full release next next year. Expect me to rec this program to everyone I know who has a computer.
Thank you. That’s very kind of you, and I know Lee will be pleased to see responses like this when he wakes up and starts another day of tracking bugs. Although it’s certainly hectic at the moment and we’re trying to answer as much as we can while dealing with bugs (although I’m tracking Mac bugs I’m trying to throw out a few answers over here too to help Lee), we really do appreciate the time beta-testers are taking to post reports, and for all your patience with the bugs that are lurking and that are going to take time to fix.
Oh, and I’m really pleased to hear that you like Scrivener!
Yah, me too. Although it was a bit of a headache to get running, it’s been fun so far. That it’s rock-solid in linux on a beta version should say something about the quality of the coding.
Me three, It’s been running great for a public beta and I was lucky enough not to have to change anything to get it to install. Now back to finding bugs - people keep posting them before me!
