I accidently deleted a section of my text, I cut the text, then re-ordered some of the folders in the binder, accidentally copied something else before pasting the original content in a different location.
Is there a way to review previous version, or a save history (like time machine on MacOS) in order to retrieve my missing text?
Thanks
Phill
Scrivener’s automatic backups can be found by going to Scrivener -> Preferences -> Backups, and clicking the button to open the backup folder in Finder.
It’s a good idea to drag the entire contents of that folder to another location before you start reviewing backups. That reduces the risk of overwriting a good backup with a bad copy of the project. It’s also a good idea to rename as necessary to make sure you can tell which copy of the project is which.
