Revision mode in one editor window only?

Is it possible to have revision mode turned on in one editor window only? I have the previous draft open in right window for reference but sometimes I get lost and start working on that draft and realize I was supposed to be back in the left (most current) editor window. Is there some other way people have used to alert themselves that they’ve just started putting great new material in an old draft? Thanks

Hi,

No, this isn’t possible, I’m afraid. Revision mode is a global setting.

All the best,
Keith

Could you perhaps take a snapshot of your old draft and drag that to the header of the right split? You’d have it there for reference, but, as far as I know, snapshots are not editable, so it should save your problem.

Perfect! Thank you Mark! And Keith. I’m three for three in getting the exact answer in this forum. I friggin love Scrivener.
