Any chance we’ll see Revision Mode on the iPad?
In my workflow, I don’t use it for revisions so much as for flow writing. That is, I’ll be writing along, everything’s going fine, but then I get stuck. So I go into First Revision, I even have it mapped to a keyboard shortcut, and I’ll write something like “here is the part where Joe and Steve discuss killing Frank, etc…” and then I eventually get to a spot where I can start writing for real again, so I exit revision mode.
And then later I can see and even search for all my blue text that I know I have to fix up. And this way I can stay in the “flow” mode and just keep writing.
I’d like to be able to type away on the iPad, and when I get stuck, tap the blue square, rough out the stuck prose, tap the blue square to exit, and keep writing.
Doable? Significant enough to dedicate a bit of UI?
