Ruler locking on significant values

it would be nice if one had the ability to lock onto significant values on the ruler (.25, .5, .75 etc). I have shaky hands at time and the way things are set up in scrivener I find cumbersome.

Doesn’t the Ruler snap every option serve in that case? (I’m not at my Mac right now, couldn’t check it myself, but on Windows it works as intended).
